The Service
Expertluma provides a cloud-based enterprise platform and related professional services for AI evaluation, governed improvement and training-data workflows, independent retesting, evidence packaging, certification support, workforce and expert coordination, partner delivery, and program operations under customer agreements.
Depending on the engagement, the Service may include sealed examinations, baseline and retest measurement, failure analysis, human review and adjudication, dataset production, Trust Packages / certification evidence, and decision-support records. Expertluma does not, by default, take ownership of a customer’s AI models or make final deployment decisions on the customer’s behalf unless expressly agreed in writing.
Service Usage
Customers may access services according to subscribed plans, ordered engagements, and written agreements. Use must comply with applicable law, these Terms, and any acceptable-use or security requirements set out in the agreement.
Data Ownership
Customers retain ownership of their data, models, prompts, and systems under test unless otherwise agreed. Expertluma retains ownership of its platform, evaluation methods, documentation, and pre-existing materials. Outputs created for a customer under an engagement are handled as specified in the applicable order or master agreement.
Confidentiality
Expertluma treats customer information as confidential and applies reasonable safeguards. Examination contents, evaluation results, and customer AI materials are handled according to the engagement’s data-processing and retention terms.
Intellectual Property
Each party retains ownership of its respective intellectual property.
Evidence and certification disclaimer
Measurement, Trust Packages, and related evidence describe performance under the defined examination and intended use stated for that engagement. They do not constitute a warranty that an AI system is safe, compliant, or suitable for every use case, nor do they replace the customer’s own governance, legal, clinical, or regulatory judgment.
Limitation of Liability
Liability limitations apply as permitted by law and applicable agreements.
Governing Law
Governed according to the jurisdiction specified in commercial agreements.
